Nic insists the duo records at Sonic Ranch Studios in El Paso, TX (Bon Iver, Conor Oberst, Portugal the Man. Sonic Ranch is a world-class studio designed by Vincent Van Haaff on a giant pecan orchard which borders the Rio Grande and Mexico.
